Transition Town Brixton are holding an event called “All about Energy”, at The Loughborough Centre, Mon 11 November, from 6-9pm.
The Loughborough Centre is at 105 Angell Road, SW9 7PD (junction with Barrington Road).
In September, under the title LOCAL FOOD IS HAPPENING! Transition Town Brixton held an extra-ordinary sharing of what local food projects are achieving. Thank you to the Loughborough Farm and the Loughborough Junction Action Group for co-organising. The food was amazing! TTB reported back on the recently published REconomy report on the benefits of localising our food economy. Brixton People’s Kitchen brought their mobile kitchen. It was a buzzy evening.
We plan to do the same for LOCAL ENERGY! Detailed programme tbc. Expect to hear at least from Brixton Energy/Repowering, TTB Community Draught Busters and Brixton Institute of Insulators (working title).
