The Brixton Give and Take Market will take place this year on Saturday 29 March. Running alongside the Brixton Station Road market it allows people to get rid of things they don’t need and take home a few things they really do need – all for free. Whether you want to get rid of stuff or you’re on the hunt for some much needed household items, children’s clothes or a new book to read this is an event not to be missed. Donations will be accepted between 10am-12pm and the market will be open between 12-3.30pm.
The event takes place alongside the popular Brixton Station Road street market where 15 market stalls will be turned over to the Give & Take event. A team of volunteers will sort donations onto the stalls for the free give away to the public starting at 12pm.
