Celebrating Thanksgiving with a pizza day down at the farm

The sun shone and the master chefs were out in force churning out a fantastic array of the tastiest toppings when Loughborough Farm celebrated Thanksgiving with a Thank Goodness for Pizza day on Saturday 29 November.

Farm grown leafy greens, chillis and aromatic herbs topped Anthea and Simon’s unrivalled dough mixes (semolina and sourdough) and special passata. The last farm pumpkin found itself a roasted Thanksgiving topping. Segen brought her own array of tasty delights to the table as did many who joined in the festivities.

Special thanks to Simon, Segen, Elkin and Ollie and to everyone who came and supported the event… and as ever to Andy for letting us fire up the oven.
