Cooperative parks coming to Loughborough Junction? Have your say.

Community groups will soon be given increasing chances to get involved with the running of Lambeth’s parks. This means that groups of residents could become responsible for the management of a park, or part of a park eg a football pitch, either independently or jointly with the Council.
The first step however, is finding out what people think. Lambeth Council are looking to gather the views from as many people across different areas and communities as possible. Find out more.

On this webpage you can find the Cooperative Parks Information Booklet, and complete the online Cooperative Parks questionnaires. Hard copies will be available in your local leisure centres, libraries and other council buildings. Also keep an eye out for events in your local park, and a series of public meetings that will take place in September 2013, including:

  • Tuesday 3 September, 6.30pm-8.30pm at Karibu Education Centre, 7 Gresham Road, London SW9 7PH
  • Wednesday 11 September, 10.30am-12.30pm at King George’s Conference Centre, Stockwell YMCA, 40 Stockwell Road, London, SW9 9ES
Public consultation ends on Friday 18 October 2013.
