First Steps in Social Enterprise Programme

First Steps In Social Enterprise is a free 12 week business advice and support programme provided by social enterprises and sector specialists, Olmec. It gives you a structured opportunity to help you develop your business plan, test the viability of your idea and prepare to trade, supported by experienced specialists and peers. First Steps In Social Enterprise will provide free advice to help you get your venture off the ground.

Who should apply?
Budding social entrepreneurs from a migrant background, or people with a business idea for a social enterprise that will benefit both minorities and the wider community.

* Migrants are defined as anyone born outside the UK who is now residing here.

When does the programme start and how long do I have to apply?

·         You can apply until 19 July
·         Interviews will take place between 14 July and 16 August
·         The programme runs from September to November 2013.
