Forest School sessions on offer in Elam Street Open Space, January-February 2014

A forest school is to start in Elam Street Open Space. The sessions will run on Saturdays by Embrace Corporation. Elam Street Open Space is the small park that runs between Gordon Grove and Lilford Road and all sessions are free.

Workshops take place on the following dates:

Saturday 25 January: Fire Making: Building a Fire Site

Saturday 1 February: Bug Hotel Making; working with Elder Tree.

Saturday 8 February: Fire Making Workshop 1 (Roasting veg), Session 1: Health and safety and fire lighting

Saturday 15 February: Fire Making Workshop 1 (Roasting veg), Session 2: Health and safety, fire lighting and hot drink.

Saturday 22 February: Fire Making Workshop 1 (Roasting veg), Session 3: Health and safety, fire lighting and roasting veggies.
