Free plant identification courses in Elam Street Open Space

A course in plant identification is being offered by Embrace Cooperation and The Species Recovery Trust in Elam Street Open Space (the small park between Gordon Grove and Lilford Road).

This course will teach participants several of the key plant species that occur widely in urban spaces, focusing particularly on grass identification and the use of plants as indicator species for habitat assessment.

The course is free and runs on two dates:

  • Tuesday 20 May 2014, 11am-1pm
  • Friday 20 June 2014, 10am-1pm.
