Options 4 Change is supporting and nurturing local resident Beverly Baxter with ‘Generations Together Coldharbour’, a special project that promotes engagement and empowerment by addressing the collective needs and interests of local communities.
The project is funded by The London Community Foundation – Community Challenge Fund, and involves a series of practical workshops covering a number of social issues:
· identifying intergenerational priorities
· information and advice on health and wellbeing
· exploring ways to tackle guns and crime
· how best to achieve social and academic success
· reducing school exclusions
· achieving safer communities and neighbourhoods
· creating volunteering opportunities
· providing appropriate support for parents and families.
Dates: Every Wednesday for 10 weeks from 10 July – 11 September 2013
Venue: Marcus Lipton Youth Centre, Minet Road SW9 7UA
Time: 11am-2pm
