Home Start Lambeth are looking for Trustees for their Board.
Part of a national charitable network, Home-Start Lambeth is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age. They recruit and train volunteers to offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families under stress in their own homes, and offer some support outside the home, helping to prevent family crisis and breakdown.
As a Trustee you would be expected to attend Board meetings (10 per year), and contribute to or lead on the organisation’s business and projects.
Home Start are particularly looking for people from the following backgrounds:
safeguarding and child protection
working with vulnerable adults and children
fundraising
health sector
mental health
legal sector
children’s services
domestic violence
financial services/accountancy.
