Loughborough Junction Action Group is now a registered charity. After reseaching a number of other ways of moving our work forward, we came to the decision that charitable status was the route for us.
Over the next couple of years we need to embark on a major programme of fundraising and in the past we have found that without charitable status many major funders wouldn’t even give us the time of day. We know there is no guarantee but we believe our fundraising efforts now stand a much great chance of success.
