Myatt’s Fields greenhouse open day, Sunday 7 September
The greenhouse in Myatt’s Fields Park, Cormont Road, SE5 will be open on Sunday 7 September from 11am-2pm. Everyone is welcome to come in, have a walk around and join in some gardening if you feel like it. Gardener, Fabrice, will be on hand to answer your gardening questions.
There are currently aubergines, chillies, lettuce, cucumbers (in the cucumber house), tomatoes, potatoes and sweetcorn to see.
There will be a free hot lunch made from greenhouse produce which everyone is welcome to share.
In addition, the community gardener supports ten local food growing projects with training, seedlings and a £250 grant. If you run a community growing space and would like to be supported please contact Victoria Sherwin on [email protected] or 0207 926 0394.
