Aisha, now 19, said this before her internship at Banister House, Hackney in 2015:
“I decided to get involved in this project as I saw it as a good opportunity to help the community. I see this as a great opportunity to make a change and an impact on my estate. I would like to see this project save money for the estate and bring residents together to benefit us all.”
Funded by Power to Change, Repowering will deliver the internship and develop new community projects in the area to create social and environmental benefits, and bring money to the local community.
