Architects Pollard Thomas Edwards (who redesigned Brockwell Lido) have been charged with carrying out a feasibility study and were at the meeting. The group has received Heritage Lottery funding to do this.

A cafe and gallery, nursery, community meeting space and venue, or dual purpose use were some of the suggestions. People agreed it was important that whatever the choice it was sustainable.

A public consultation will take place in Ruskin Park on Sunday 18 May from 10am- 4pm. At this point, there will be a number of options for park users to respond to. This will be followed up with a public Friends of Ruskin Park Meeting on Tuesday 20 May at 7.30pm in the Cambria Pub, Kemerton Road when the outputs of the consultation will be shared.
