NHS Lambeth are looking for local residents from Vassall and Coldharbour who are interested in training to be Community Connectors.
Community Connectors link people in their local community with activities and organisations that can help improve their quality of life – including wellbeing and health services, local community groups and organisation and social groups.
The programme is about enabling people who are already involved in volunteering in the community to take part and develop a new complementary skill. It gives them the knowledge and skills to be a Community Connector – includes undertaking a 4-day training programme with Royal Society of Public Health Level 2 Award – Understanding Health Behaviour Change (RSPH UHBC) exam.
