Want to Learn how to Sew? Free 4 Week Course for Beginners who are 18-30

Sew Easy – for beginners who are 18-30 at the Remakery!  

Over 4 weeks you will learn how to make a bag and put in zips, drawstrings, buttonholes, and decoration.

Times: 

Wednesday 10:00 – 13:00 (session)

Thursday 10:00 – 13:00 (optional drop-in)

Week 1: Thread a sewing machine and use decorative and plain stitches to construct samples of sewing techniques.

Week 2: Lay and cut out fabric, apply markings and use iron on interfacing.

Week 3: Construct channel for drawstring and sew samples of fastenings. Zips ,Velcro, Buttonholes ect.

Week 4: Sew all parts together in a relevant order to construct a drawstring backpack with decorative techniques
