Wildlife Volunteering in Ruskin Park Saturday 20th July

Froglife are returning this Saturday to help make the Wildlife Garden a better habitat for reptiles and amphibians. They are planning to build hibernacula next to the pond.

After a successful Wildlife Workshop in June, Froglife  have lots of ideas for practical improvements we can make in the park Wildlife Garden to make it a better habitat for wildlife including amphibians and reptiles.

Froglife will be returning three more times this year to help put some of this into practice, while they will also be carrying out work on the park’s ponds.

This will be part of the normal Community Gardening session, so meet at 10am at the Community Garden near the Denmark Hill entrance. No experience needed. If you have any questions email [email protected].

There will be an informal picnic lunch afterwards in the Community Garden from 12.30 until 2.  Please come along to find out about getting involved in any of our Friends of Ruskin Park volunteering, whether you are attending the Wildlife Volunteering session or not.
