Groundswell is seeking an experienced individual, with a track record of supporting people to volunteer and get involved in their communities. As our award winning Homeless Health Peer Advocacy (HHPA) programme grows, we need to invest in recruiting new volunteers with lived experience of homelessness and ensure that existing volunteers are properly supported and able to input fully into what we do.

This role will be responsible for working with partnership organisations across London to develop a recruitment programme, including pre-volunteering workshops to help people explore whether volunteering is a good option for them. The Volunteer Co-ordinator will also be responsible for making sure that we have the right systems in place to support our volunteers and help them develop within their roles. You will be playing a crucial role in a growing and dynamic charity which is committed inclusive solutions to tackling homelessness.

Your work will also be part of our ongoing project to create people management systems that support individuals with lived experience of homelessness to transition into, and maintain, volunteer and paid roles.
